Use AstruVerify in a way that works for you
AstruVerify is designed so that visual preferences, keyboard use and a non-biometric identity route do not weaken the security of the verification process.
You can make the text bigger, increase contrast, reduce movement, use simpler wording, or ask for a non-biometric verification method.
Display and reading settings
These settings are saved only in this browser. They are not added to your AstruVerify identity profile.
Keyboard navigation
Use Tab to move forward and Shift + Tab to move backward. A strong focus outline shows where you are.
At the top of each page, keyboard users can choose Skip to main content to bypass the navigation menu.
Screen readers
Core verification pages use headings, labels, landmarks, status announcements and current-step information intended to make the flow easier to understand without relying only on visual layout.
If you find a control that is difficult to use with assistive technology, report it through the Privacy Centre or Data Controls security/help workflow.
Biometrics do not work for me
Citizen accounts can save a standing preference for a non-biometric verification route. AstruVerify will prefer a compatible alternative when a provider supports it.
Sign in as a Citizen to save this verification preference.
Human-assisted verification
Where an identity provider supports it, AstruVerify exposes a human-assisted route alongside app, PIN/OTP, passkey or password methods.
Assisted verification is an alternative route, not weaker verification. The provider remains responsible for equivalent identity assurance.
